Insider Broncos Information Trader Jerry Jeudy Situation

Draft picks are needed by the Denver Broncos. One of their most well-known players may be moving as a result.

Wide receiver Jerry Jeudy of the Denver Broncos has been the subject of trade rumors, with the Cleveland Browns apparently one of the interested parties.

On Saturday, ESPN's Broncos beat reporter Jeff Legwold provided an update on the Jeudy situation.

Legwold stated that Jeudy, who led the club with 62 catches for 972 yards and six touchdowns last season, is actually being considered by the Broncos.

Yet, according to Legwold, the team has been "resolute about securing a first- or second-round selection in any transaction that featured Jeudy."

In the upcoming NFL Draft, the Broncos do not currently own a pick in either the first or second round. In exchange for Russell Wilson, the franchise gave the Seattle Seahawks each of their first two picks.

When the Broncos chose Sean Payton to succeed Nathaniel Hackett as head coach, they lost the first-round,

the pick they received in return for trading pass-rusher Bradley Chubb to the Miami Dolphins last season. Instead, that pick went to the New Orleans Saints.

According to an NFL insider cited by Legwold, the only position group on the Broncos' offense with multiple guys that other teams might be interested in trading for is wide receiver.

However, none of the team's top two pass catchers will be given away lightly, especially not Jeudy, who enjoyed a spectacular third season in 2022. For the last six games of the season, Jeudy caught 37 passes for 523 yards.

Expect a change in the receiver room for the Broncos next season, whether or not Jeudy is traded. Marquez Callaway

who played for the Saints under Payton, was signed by the team earlier this week as a free agent. According to Legwold, the squad also pursued Adam Thielen and Allen Lazard.
