Due to Ezekiel Elliott's $16.72 million salary cap impact for 2023, the Cowboys cut him. Due to his accomplishments in Dallas, the decision was a difficult one.
Eventually, Elliott will have to make a decision about which team he wants to play for this fall.
Heavy.com's Matt Lombardo says Elliott has the Bills as a "team to watch."
ESPN insider Jeremy Fowler also mentioned the Bills as potential contenders for Elliott.
Several Bills supporters said they would be cool with Elliott joining the team if the front office was able to sign him for a reasonable contract.
In another message, a Bills fan stated: "If the Bills sign Zeke, I want two things: 1. He must be really, extremely cheap, and 2. He must return with the #15."
In short-yardage situations, Elliott would likely be in charge for the Bills.
In his final season with the Cowboys, Elliott ran for 876 yards and scored 12 touchdowns.
