'Pokémon: Horizontes' explores the theme of Japanese openings with the "climax" of Ash's adventures.

Following the episode, a trailer for the new anime, Pokémon: Horizontes, was released, which is also known in official Japanese propaganda as

Shin Pocket Monsters" ("New Pokémon") and "Pokémon 2023." A global press release was also issued, announcing that the series will air simultaneously around the world.

The Japanese version was uploaded to YouTube, along with a preview of the opening theme from the international trailer,

Implying that the opening outside of Japan will be different (as is customary):

Asmi and Chinozo will perform the Japanese theme "Dokimeki Diary" (it's difficult to translate,

But it's similar to "Diário da Emoço/Palpitaço"). In Japan, the new anime now has its own official website.

Daiki Tomiyasu served as creative director. Despite Den's lack of directing experience, Tomiyasu oversees the series' direction from Sol to Lua.

The schedule is overseen by Dai Sato, a well-known industry figure who has worked on shows such as Cowboy Bebop and Ergo Proxy.
